In the last years, I have dedicated my career to the transformation of math education as a more inclusive, inviting and engaging subject.

Mathematical Interests

  • Bringing Active Learning into the classroom.
  • Incorporating technological tools in different stages of the learning process.
  • Recognizing student's background and diversity and helping overcome their challenges.
  • Course, class activities and assessment design.
  • Technology based effective feedback methods.
  • Incorporating AI based tools to enhance teaching and learning.

As a trained algebraic topologist in the classical sense, my research interests include
  • Equivariant cohomology for finite group actions.
  • Polyhedral products and connections with transformation groups and combinatorics
  • Neural Networks and Reinforcement Learning.
